Ever since Divine Savior Academy became a part of the educational landscape at Santa Rita Ranch in 2019, there’s been a plan to extend the educational opportunities offered there. The first step of that plan will come to fruition soon when Divine Savior Academy opens its new middle school in Liberty Hill! The Divine Savior Middle School ground breaking will take place May 13 at 5pm, and construction will be completed by the summer of 2023!
Divine Savior Academy is one of the largest private school systems in the United States. The students at Divine Savior Academy in Santa Rita Ranch benefit not just from the support of the caring teachers and dedicated professionals at our on-site school, but from the resources of the entire Divine Savior Academy family.
This new middle school in Liberty Hill will serve about 144 students and will be staffed by some of the best and most dedicated educators in the country. Plans for the school include a library, 14 new classrooms, two science/STEM labs, an art lab, a music room, and a full-size gym for student sports programs. The new Divine Savior Middle School at Santa Rita Ranch will provide an unparalleled learning environment for students in grades 6 through 8 and will offer college-prep academic programs that will prepare students for a lifetime of learning and success.
The new middle school will also offer a range of elective classes, including Bible study, leadership development, computer tech, coding, and pre-AP courses focused on skills students will need to excel in AP courses, college, and careers. Of course, Divine Savior knows that the growth and development of its students doesn’t end in the classroom. Sports programs will include cross country, track, volleyball, and basketball. The school will add football, baseball, soccer, and tennis in the very near future.
For as long as Divine Savior Academy has been a part of our community here at Santa Rita Ranch, we’ve been inspired by the enthusiasm and dedication it has shown for the future of its students. We’ve been equally excited about the future of Divine Savior Academy here on the Ranch. The ground breaking of the Divine Savior Middle School is the beginning of great new opportunities for students and their families, and the summer of 2023 will be here sooner than you can imagine!
