700+ Homes Sold Puts Us at No. 14 in the Nation!

Santa Rita Ranch is once again the Austin area’s top-selling master-planned community, according to the John Burns Research & Consulting 2023 rankings, but the achievement comes with a first — we topped 700 home sales in a single year!

It’s the first time any Austin-area community has sold so many homes.

Our builders sold 742 homes in 2023, putting us at No. 14 in the nation (another first) on the John Burns list of top-selling master-planned communities. Statewide, we were No. 6.

We’ve been Austin area’s top-selling master-planned community every year since 2020. Developer Ed Horne attributes this success to the variety in types of homes available, catering to a broad range of preferences and budgets.  In Austin’s sometimes narrow and expensive housing market, Santa Rita Ranch stands out by offering homes priced from the $300,000s to more than $2 million.

Those looking for a smaller home can find it here, while people wanting expansive homes meant for large families and entertaining also have plentiful options in Santa Rita Ranch. There is even a Village just for people ages 55 and older, with homes designed to their specific needs and amenities exclusive to the Regency Village.

We added to our home choices last year, opening a new Village— Saddleback — and a new model home park in our Tierra Rosa Village. Saddleback offers homes from Pulte Homes and GFO Home, a new builder to our community. Three new models are open in the new Dream Street model home park on Villoria Cove. When complete, it will feature seven model homes showcasing floor plans base-priced from the $400s to the $1 millions.

These home sales mean more than just national rankings, however. It means we welcomed more than 700 new families into Santa Rita Ranch, helping them begin new lives in our community. We hope they will get to know their neighbors (Ranch Code No. 3), discover natural beauty (Ranch Code No. 5) as they hike our trails and fish our lakes, and live active and healthy (Ranch Code No. 6) at the Wellness Barn fitness center and our various sports courts.
