This year was one full of new beginnings, community, and excitement in Santa Rita Ranch as we lived up to the Ranch Code again and again. Look at our 2024 end-of-the-year planned community recap:

Ranch Code No. 7 Blaze Your Own Trail
We embraced Ranch Code No. 7 with a flurry of accomplishments that further elevated Santa Rita Ranch as one of the Austin area’s most dynamic communities. Three onsite schools opened this year — San Gabriel Elementary (our first onsite Georgetown ISD campus), Tierra Rosa Elementary, and the ninth-grade campus of Divine Savior Academy. We now have six schools onsite in the community, including Kids ‘R’ Kids Daycare and Preschool and Santa Rita Elementary and Santa Rita Middle School, both part of Liberty Hill ISD.
Our builders opened 10 new model homes this year, including eight in a new model home park in our Tierra Rosa Village. New builders Chesmar Homes and Taylor Morrison joined Highland Homes, Perry Homes, Sitterle Homes, and Scott Felder Homes in debuting models in our new model home park. Home buyers considering Tierra Rosa have a wide array of floor plans to choose from, including townhomes with lock-and-leave lifestyle estate homes and everything in between. Pricing is from $400,000s to more than $1 million.
Pulte Homes also opened new models in Santa Rita Ranch this year. Their two new models showcase designs priced from the $300,000s in our Saddleback Village.
With so much variety, it’s no surprise that Santa Rita Ranch continues to rank as Austin’s top-selling master-planned community. The most recent national ranking — RCLCO Real Estate Consulting’s mid-year report — lists our community as No. 1 in Austin, No. 7 in Texas, and No. 19 in the nation. The annual tally ranks master-planned communities on the strength of their home sales during the first six months of the year. Our builders sold 343 homes from January to June this year.
Ranch Code No. 4 Take Pride In Your Work
Our planned community recap continues with a look at the new amenities opened in Santa Rita Ranch this year. Heads up — there were a lot!
Residents were delighted — or shall we say, “happy campers” — with the summer opening of Ranch Camp, an 8-acre amenity complex that added three pools to our count of seven community pools. Residents experienced waves of fun at Ranch Camp’s two resort-style pools and a kiddie pool. Happy’s Splash Park at Ranch Camp provides another way to beat the heat of summer. But that’s not all Ranch Camp offers — there are also two pickleball courts, a corn hole yard, relaxation stations, and a cooling shed ready to host birthday parties, impromptu gatherings, and more.
The exclusive Retreat amenity complex also opened this year in our Regency 55+ neighborhood. Regency residents can enjoy their own clubhouse, lounge areas, a resort-style pool, pickleball courts, bocce ball, and more. A dedicated lifestyle director has made quick use of the complex, hosting fitness classes, happy hours, and more.
Near the end of 2024, we announced another new large-scale amenity coming to Santa Rita Ranch — The Paddock in Saddleback Village. Coming in 2026, The Paddock will feature a resort-style pool, indoor and outdoor pickleball courts, a playground, a trike track, and a family pavilion. As you can see, we’re serious about Ranch Code No. 11 Have Fun Along the Way!
Ranch Code No. 3 Get To Know Your Neighbors
Santa Rita Ranch residents had plenty of opportunities to get to know their neighbors, with a busy calendar of events planned by our onsite lifestyle director. A sampling of events included the always popular — and always big — Easter egg hunt, the annual Santa Rita Day that honors our land’s legacy, and our robust Fourth of July celebration and its many activities.
Realtors were invited to a sneak peek of Ranch Camp, and on Veteran’s Day we hosted a ceremony at Memorial Plaza to honor all those who have served our country. And, of course, we’re going big for Christmas, with tree lighting, pictures with Santa, caroling, and more.
Plus, residents of our Regency active-adult village had a calendar of events curated just for them, including karaoke, a poolside luau, Bingo, a Margarita Rumble, an Oktoberfest party, and “Friendsgiving.”
