2025 summer resident events recap – Summer runs a little differently here in Santa Rita Ranch. A day at the pool can be every day. “Grand” is how we celebrate holidays. And everyone’s new favorite sport? Let’s just say pickleball is a big “dill” here. As we head into fall, it’s worth looking back at our summer resident events recap.
2025 Summer Resident Events Recap
Santa Rita Day
Residents welcomed summer with a full day of events on Santa Rita Day, our annual launch of pool season, and a nod to our namesake, Santa Rita, the patron saint of the impossible. This Santa Rita Day had young adventurers racing down the Big Dip and Lil’ Dip slides for the first time this year. The party continued throughout the day, fueled by tacos, cotton candy, and snow cones.
Memorial Day
Memorial Day is synonymous with barbecues and relaxation, but in Santa Rita Ranch, we took the day’s purpose to heart, honoring those heroes who gave their lives protecting our freedom. A brass band played for a special ceremony at Memorial Plaza, with residents gathering to remember loved ones and pay special tribute to our fallen military. The dozens of people in attendance were treated to a catered lunch after the presentation.
Fourth of July
Santa Rita Ranch residents had no need to head into town to celebrate the nation’s independence — we had a hometown celebration right here in the community. Carnival rides, a miniature train, and gigantic inflatables kept little ones busy and gave parents plenty of photo ops. Live music, airbrush tattoos, cotton candy, and other treats added to the fun. The day brought out hundreds of residents, all eager to enjoy the celebration.
Acing the Summer
Our round-up of Liberty Hill, TX resident events isn’t complete without the summer’s pickleball tournament. Residents were out early to test their pickleball skills against their neighbors, playing in a just-for-fun tournament to crown first-, second-, and third-place teams. The tournament brought pickleball fans throughout the community together, helping them connect with a variety of partners and friendly opponents. Thanks to The Bebop Coffee Shop and HighVibe Eats for bringing coffee and breakfast tacos.
Which Pool Today?
In addition to events planned by our lifestyle director, every sunny day brought the possibility for something special as residents had their choice of seven pools to explore. Each has its own vibe, from the action at the Ranch House to the relaxed chill of The Hub. Or enjoy it all at Ranch Camp, which has two resort pools, a kiddie pool, and a splash pad. Our Regency residents can enjoy any pool within the community and then retreat to their own exclusive pool within the 55+ neighborhood. Facing the decision of exactly which pool to enjoy today is the definition of true luxury!
