2023 — What a Year!

Join the VIP list to be the first to hear community news and new home offerings.

We think every year in Santa Rita Ranch is a good year — you got us there! — but 2023 was something special.

Probably our favorite thing about this year has been fulfilling Ranch Code No. 3 Getting to Know Your Neighbors. Hundreds of new neighbors moved into Santa Rita Ranch during the year. RCLCO’s mid-year report of the top-selling master-planned communities saw us at No. 16 in the nation, No. 7 in Texas and No. 1 in Austin. We fully expect to start the year off on a high note when the full report on 2023 sales comes out in early January.

But the number of residents isn’t the only way Santa Rita Ranch has grown this year. Take a look:

New Neighborhood — Saddleback

We introduced yet another new neighborhood in Santa Rita Ranch this year, Saddleback. Featuring homes by Pulte Homes and new-to-the-community GFO Home, Saddleback is located along Ronald Reagan Boulevard near Divine Savior Academy. Residents there have full access to community amenities — including a new amenity center planned for the neighborhood.

Talking About Amenities

We were excited to announce and start construction this year on what will be the largest amenity complex in Santa Rita Ranch — Ranch Camp. This will be 8 acres of fun when it opens in 2024, with three pools, including a beach-entry kiddie pool. A splash pad expands the water fun. Ranch Camp also will have two pickleball courts, a pavilion, shady arbors and a cornhole lawn. With so much to offer (and so many amenities already open), it will be fun for residents to follow Ranch Code No. 11 — Have Fun Along the Way.

School Expansions

Divine Savior Academy opened a new middle school this year and now offers classes for children in pre-kindergarten through eighth grade. The expansion will continue in 2024 when Divine Savior opens a high school in Santa Rita Ranch. Also opening in 2024 will be two elementary schools — Tierra Rosa and San Gabriel Elementary. Tierra Rosa Elementary will be the third Liberty Hill ISD campus onsite in Santa Rita Ranch, and San Gabriel Elementary will be the first school within Georgetown ISD to be in our community.

Revolutionizing Internet Service

Ubiquity opened a new edge data center in Santa Rita Ranch this year, kicking off a wave of digital infrastructure improvements that will not only impact our community but all of Central Texas. The edge data center anchors one of the densest fiber-optic network deployments in the state with enough capacity to support neighboring communities, enterprises and carrier transport for the next 30 years. FiberFirst is the center’s first tenant, providing multi-gigabit speeds to residents and businesses throughout the county. FiberFirst has more information about capabilities and providers.

How We Had Fun Along the Way

True to the aforementioned Ranch Code No. 11, our onsite lifestyle director hosted numerous events that had residents active in the community and engaged with neighbors. We went big for Easter with the largest egg drop in Central Texas — 80,000 eggs from a helicopter. (You might have seen it on the news.)

Monster trucks and fireworks set the tone for a tremendous Fourth of July celebration and mermaids found their way to the Ranch House pool for our Summer Bash Pool Party. Dads had a thrill throwing axes during our Father’s Day event, and runners had plenty of opportunities to compete during several 5K events throughout the year. These were just a few of the more than 100 events our lifestyle director planned this year.

With so much happening this year, it’s easy to say a lot is going on in Santa Rita Ranch! Expect more of the same in 2024, with new school openings, new amenities, new homes and a whole lot of living life by the Ranch Code!
