‘Tis the season to count your blessings, and because we like to use our manners (Ranch Code No. 9) here at Santa Rita Ranch, we’re going to say “Thank You” for the many good things happening all around us. Here’s what we’re thankful for this year:
Lightning-fast Internet
First on our list of things to be grateful for in 2023 is improved internet connectivity, thanks to FiberFirst. This summer, Ubiquity opened an edge data center that anchors one of the densest fiber-optic network deployments in the state with enough capacity to support neighboring communities, enterprises and carrier transport for the next 30 years. FiberFirst is the center’s first tenant and — by using Ubiquity’s open access network — provides multi-gigabit speeds to residents and businesses across Williamson County.
The Wonderful People Around Us
We’re also grateful for the many people who make Santa Rita Ranch so special. We have partnered with some of the best builders in the business to bring you a wide variety of homes priced below $400,000 to nearly $1 million. Their experienced salespeople are skilled at helping their clients navigate the homebuilding and buying process with ease.
Also there to help future Santa Rita Ranch residents are our staff members at either of our two Welcome Centers. Stop by the Farm House or the Ranch House to learn all about life at the Ranch. These hard-working folk have all the answers on what’s current and what’s coming up in our community. And if you do have a question that stumps them — for the moment! — they’ll get back to you with an answer in no time.
Those who already live here are grateful for our HOA and lifestyle teams who are ready to answer questions, keep amenities and the community in tip-top shape and help people to get to know their neighbors (Ranch Code No. 3).
And talking about neighbors, a list of the people we’re grateful for would be incomplete without mentioning our residents. Everyone else has set the framework for life in Santa Rita Ranch — our residents are the ones embodying the exciting vision of life our developer had from when Santa Rita Ranch was just a stretch of beautiful land.
The Glory of Nature
Something else we’re thankful for this year — and every year — is the undeniable beauty of our Hill Country setting. Our residents don’t have to travel far to enjoy the hiking, fishing and outdoor ambiance for which the Texas Hill Country is known. Hike the Ranch House Trail, spend the afternoon fishing at Ed’s Lake or enjoy the tranquil headwaters of the San Gabriel River — it’s easy to discover natural beauty (Ranch Code No. 5) in Santa Rita Ranch. And beyond the community, there’s plenty to explore with lakes, state parks, trails and more within easy reach.
Having Fun Along the Way
No doubt about it, we’re all about having fun along the way (Ranch Code No. 11). And we’ve had big fun this year in Santa Rita Ranch. Holiday celebrations, the annual Santa Rita Ranch Day and a Summer Bash pool party were all part of the 2023 excitement. A Barbecue Cook-Off, Going Greek event and Tequila Night tantalized our taste buds. And our massive egg drop was even so big that it made the local news!

Our Teachers and Staff
Among the things to be grateful for in 2023 are the excellent schools our children attend and the dedicated teachers and staff that work there. We’re actually doubly thankful as two exceptional school districts serve Santa Rita Ranch — Georgetown and Liberty Hill independent school districts.
Many of these teachers and staff work right here in the community, with two Liberty Hill schools — Santa Rita Ranch Elementary and Santa Rita Ranch Middle School — located onsite. That number will grow as Liberty Hill opens Tierra Rosa Elementary School in August 2024 and Georgetown welcomes San Gabriel Elementary in fall 2024. Beyond these public schools, Kids ‘R’ Kids daycare and preschool is located in Santa Rita Ranch as is Divine Savior Academy, serving students in pre-K through eighth grade.
Our Hometown Heroes
Like everyone else, we’re thankful for our military members (past and present), police, fire and emergency personnel who keep us safe. But our concept of “hometown heroes” goes a bit further as we’d also like to show appreciation for the garbage staff, lawn services, utility workers who brave storms to get lights back on and others who make our lives easier.
