Another year gone by. A new one just beginning. And here at Santa Rita Ranch in Liberty Hill, we couldn’t be more pleased to have spent 2021 helping so many new families find a home at one of the best communities around!
And we’re not the only ones! The RCLCO 2021 rankings report is out, and Santa Rita Ranch is once again among the top master-planned communities for 2021! The report will be familiar to those who remember when Santa Rita Ranch was named in the RCLCO rankings in 2020. Once again, we made the list of the top 50 best-selling master-planned communities in the U.S., ranking ninth in the state of Texas and number one in the Austin/Round Rock area!
Of course, we’re always overjoyed when industry-leading organizations such as RCLCO and Zonda Metrostudy, who named us the “Most Active Community in Austin” back in November, recognize our master-planned community in Liberty Hill. But the real satisfaction comes from knowing that we helped 515 families each find a beautiful new home in a wonderful new community and welcomed hundreds of friendly new faces to the neighborhood!

In fact, according to the RCLCO 2021 ranking report, home sales at the nation’s 50 top-selling master-planned communities were up 5 percent in 2021 compared to the previous year, and Texas was the market with the most significant momentum! Eighteen of 2021’s top 50 master-planned communities called the Lone Star State home, demonstrating that Texas is continuing to surge in popularity with families relocating from all over this great nation of ours.
This isn’t the first time Santa Rita Ranch has made “the list.” In July of 2021, Santa Rita Ranch was listed on the RCLCO Mid-Year report as the best-selling master-planned community in the Austin-Round Rock area. Austin, Texas is ranked in the top five best places to live in America, and it’s ranked among the fastest-growing cities in the nation. As such, demand for housing in the Austin area is nothing short of remarkable, and home builders are scrambling to keep up with demand. Santa Rita Ranch is close to high-quality schools and Austin’s leading employers, as well as surrounded by the natural beauty of the Texas Hill Country, so it’s no wonder this master-planned community is the place to live in the Austin-Round Rock area.
We’re anticipating an even bigger and better 2022, as we look forward to great new community developments such as The Grove Church, our new 55+ active adult neighborhood, the Kids ‘R’ Kids daycare, and the many improvements to our local schools that will be possible thanks to the generous bond initiative passed by Georgetown ISD. In addition to all of these developments, we have lots more exciting projects that we can’t wait to share with you!
