Wine Walk & Model Home Tour

You are invited to walk, sip and tour your way through more than a dozen model homes — three of them new — during the Santa Rita Ranch Wine Walk and Model Home Tour noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 13.

The free event starts at our community’s Ranch House, 175 Elizabeth Park Boulevard. Sip on fine wine from four different wine stations that will offer tastings and snack on delicious food truck fare and light bites – all while touring 15 fully-furnished model homes. Tickets can be reserved at

“Today, Santa Rita Ranch has homes from $200,000 to $700,000 in every shape and size for all families of all sizes,” said Santa Rita Ranch Developer Ed Horne. “Residents have a whole lot of fun with all of our amenities, including Happy’s Wellness Barn, a junior Olympic-size pool, a state-of-the-art fitness center and The Green, a play park integrating sports, water play, fitness. Not to mention the ability to hike miles of natural trails in the glorious Texas Hill Country. And, with two new elementary schools coming soon, we are on our way to be delivering the best education in the Austin area.”

Among the 15 model homes opening their doors will be new ones by Highland Homes, Scott Felder Homes and Sitterle Homes. Homes by these builders are priced from the mid $200,000s.

Lennar, Giddens Homes, Westin Homes, CastleRock Communities, Pulte Homes, Wilshire Homes, Empire Communities, and Perry Homes also build in Santa Rita Ranch.

There are two new neighborhoods on the tour — The Estates, which features oversized, half-acre lots, and Ventana, a gated community featuring premium Hill Country views and 1.5-story homes.

Since Santa Rita Ranch opened in 2014, it has garnered a number of awards including 2018 Master-Planned Community of the Year by the Home Builders Association of Greater Austin and 2017 Master-Planned Community of the Year by the Austin Business Journal. Santa Rita Ranch amenities were named the “Best of the Best” by area voters at Austin’s 2018 Best of the Best Official Choice Awards.
