There are no two ways about it. 2021 was an exciting year, but it was also one that presented many challenges across all markets and industries, from agriculture to real estate and everything in between.
The real estate industry experienced a number of unique challenges, including a great deal of interest in select markets from first-time homebuyers as well as those relocating from other states and regions. The greater Austin area in particular saw record numbers of new home buyers looking for a brighter future for themselves and their families. This increase in demand, combined with constraints on the availability of home building materials, made for a very exciting and challenging year for home builders, home sellers, and especially Realtors.
Here at Santa Rita Ranch, we understand the incredible value that Realtors provide in the modern real estate market. By leveraging a great deal of local knowledge and experience within the areas they serve, they provide unbeatable insights to those looking to buy a home in a particular community or neighborhood, whether buyers want to know more about schools, local businesses, or trends in home values.
Buying a home is an exciting journey, but it’s also a complex and often stressful one. Buyers are always in need of support, and good Realtors are always there to help. A good Realtor brings honesty and integrity to their work, alongside knowledge of the real estate market, communication skills, and responsiveness—all of which are put into the service of helping families find the homes of their dreams. It’s a lot of hard work, long hours, and more emails, text messages, and phone calls than you can imagine.
Realtor of the Year 2021 Award
That’s why it’s our privilege to announce the Realtor of the Year award for 2021! The individual who receives this annual award is nothing short of a superstar, one who puts a great deal of personal effort into every aspect of the job. When it comes to the Realtor of the Year 2021, there’s a twist: We actually have two superstar Realtors to announce for the Santa Rita Ranch Superstar Realtor Program!
Any Realtor who sells a home in Santa Rita Ranch is automatically enrolled in our program. The Realtor who sells the most homes in a year wins $10,000 cash. This year, we had a tie. Two winners will each take home $10,000! Congratulations to Jeremy Bartlett of Swanson Realty Group and Sijo Vadakkan of Trinity Texas Realty. We’re very impressed with all their hard work, and we’re thrilled that both of them were kind enough to share a little about what makes Ranch living so special to them and their clients.

Santa Rita Ranch comes up in just about every conversation I have with new and current buyers. They love the amenities, the incredible views, the beautiful homes, and the way the owners take such great care of the neighborhood. And I feel good about recommending people to Santa Rita Ranch, because I know that the community has a can-do attitude toward making residents’ dreams come true!
