It’s hard to believe that we’re already past the halfway mark of 2021! Summer is here, kids (and adults) are enjoying their time at the pool, fireworks have already lit up the sky for the Fourth, and Santa Rita Ranch has once again made some mid-year news by being one of the best master-planned communities 2021
We’re so pleased to announce that our community has been included in the Top Selling Master-Planned Communities of Mid-Year in a report released last week by RCLCO. The report measures the 2021 mid year sales of master planned communities, and we’ve had a 23% increase in home sales for the year to date! According to the report, Santa Rita Ranch is among the best master-planned communities 2021 in the Austin-Round Rock area, number eight in Texas, and 33rd in the nation!
The record shows that we have something extraordinary here at Santa Rita Ranch, something that makes life a little sweeter and our community a lot stronger. Of course, we have many reasons to be excited about this milestone, but the thing that makes us the happiest is that we were able to welcome 192 new homeowners to our master-planned community by mid-year 2019, another 249 by mid-year 2020, and 307 by mid-year 2021! WOW!
More than anything, we love welcoming new neighbors to our fun, active, and close-knit community, and we couldn’t be happier about having so many friendly faces joining us on the Ranch. The fact that so many families are moving here will come as no surprise to those who already call Santa Rita Ranch home or to anyone who has been paying attention to the housing market lately. In fact, a recent survey by U.S. News & World Report found that Austin ranked among the top five best places to live in the U.S. Our population is growing, driven by an influx of new residents from across the country.
A number of factors drove this surge in demand throughout the Greater Austin area beginning in mid-2020. Low cost of living, great jobs, and a business-friendly environment drew people from all over the nation to move to our neck of the woods. We’re sure they’re also drawn to the amazing weather, great barbecue, and friendly neighbors! Thanks to all those things and more, the demand for housing in the Austin area shows no signs of slowing down, and we can’t wait to welcome even more new neighbors to our master-planned community just north of Austin.
