It is time for the Omni Barton Creek Resort Annual Holiday Lights & Ice! Your family will enjoy the fun of ice skating surrounded by the glow of 200,000 Christmas lights. By attending you are helping the Make-a-Wish® foundation with a percentage of proceeds going to the organization! The event begins December 19 and lasts through January 4.
When it comes to Christmas Lights you can’t beat the third annual Rock’n Lights Holiday Light Tour! This drive-through light show is perfect for friends and family to view some of the best lights in Central Texas! This event is open to the public till December 30th. After the show, make sure to head down to Christmas Towne at the Old Settlers Association for carnival rides, food, entertainment, and so much more! These events are collecting unwrapped gifts and non-perishable food items to donate to Round Rock Blue Santa and Toys for Tots.
The Harlien family of Georgetown annually features a 40,000 light show at their home. Not only is this a fun event to get the neighbors together, but it also benefits the Make-a-Wish® Foundation.
Make a child’s Christmas wish come true this year by checking off their Christmas list. What better way to give than to give to someone who is in need? Contact the Settlement Home for Children to let them know you are interested in donating gifts and they will set up a time to pick up your donations. This is a great opportunity for your family to give back together during the holidays.
The 39th annual Armadillo Christmas Bazaar features music, art, and gifts. This event goes on till the 26th and each day various local non-profits are highlighted; sharing their mission, how to give back, and hosting many holiday activities for those attending. A great event to do a little shopping and learn more about non-profits in the area.
