Central Texas has been hit by some pretty severe weather. Since May 1st, 20 inches of rain has poured down on Austin and the surrounding cities, and we are now starting to see the effects of all that water.

Many of our neighbors homes and belongings have been ruined by all of the recent weather which has caused urgency to help those affected by the storms. So while the flood waters recede, let us be vigilant in helping out our neighbors in the surrounding area. Here are our favorite ways to give back to those in Central Texas:
Austin Disaster Relief
The Austin Disaster Relief is accepting monetary donations for those directly affected by the storms and flooding. This is an easy way to lend a helping hand, and donations can be large or small! Visit their website to give a donation and to learn more.
Austin Pets Alive
Located off Cesar Chavez, Austin Pets Alive, one of the most notorious animal adoption agencies in Austin, has experienced severe flooding and needs help immediately with fostering animals, donations, and doing laundry. If you are pet lovers like ourselves, this the perfect way you can give back to the community by helping out the ones who love us unconditionally — the cats and dogs of Central Texas.
Central Texas Red Cross
The Central Texas Red Cross is in need of volunteers to help out families in the Austin area. Visit their website to see the many ways you can provide relief.
Hays County Food Bank
The Hays County Food Bank is collecting food, disinfectant wipes, paper goods, and products to those affected by the floods. They also will accept monetary donations. See all the ways you can help out and where you can drop off donations by visiting their website.
