Celebrate Independence Day in style and serve this perfect appetizer for your
Fourth of July party!

Ingredients:

1 French Bread Baguette (16oz), cut into 36 slices
2 Tbsp. Olive Oil
7 plum tomatoes, chopped
1 package (4oz) feta cheese
½ cup finely chopped red onions
2 Tbsp. chopped basil
1 Tbsp. chopped black olives
¼ tsp. pepper

Directions:

Heat broiler
Broil Bread Slices 2-3 min. on each side or until lightly toasted
Brush evenly with 1 Tbsp. olive oil
Combine remaining ingredients with remaining olive oil
Spoon mix onto toast slices

Wow, now these scrumptious firework hot dogs are a guaranteed crowd pleaser! They are easy to make and perfect for an outdoor summer Fourth of July party!

Ingredients:

1 can refrigerated breadstick dough
16 hot dogs
16 thick slices Colby cheese
16 wooden skewers
star cookie cutter

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper
Skewer through the length of the hot dog, leaving 1.5” exposed at the top
Take a piece of dough and wrap around the hot dog in a spiral (leaving space between)
Repeat for all skewers
Bake hot dogs for 20 minutes or until golden brown
While baking, use the cookie cuter to cut out small cheese stars (1” in diameter)
After the hot dogs cool, place 1 star at the top of each hot dog

Don’t forget dessert! This red,white, and blueberry trifle is not only delicious, but a wonderful display for your Fourth of July Feast!

Ingredients:

10 oz angel food cake, cut into 1-inch cubes
2 pints strawberries, sliced
2 pints blueberries

For the cream filling:

6 tbsp. fat- free sweetened condensed milk
1 ½ cups cold water
1 package sugar-free white chocolate instant pudding mix
12 oz fat-free frozen whipped topping, thawed

Directions:

Whisk the condensed milk and water in a bowl
Whisk in the pudding mix (2 min)
Let stand until soft-set
Fold in whipped topping
Arrange half of the cake in the bottom of a 14 cup trifle dish
Sprinkle in a layer of blueberries
Spread half of the cream mixture over blueberries
Top another layer of strawberries
Add another layer of cake cubes on top of the strawberries
Add more blueberries and top with remaining cream mixture
Decorate the top with the rest of strawberries and blueberries
Cover and refrigerate at least one 1 hour
