Monday, February 27th, our wonderful Hill Country Community gathered on the iconic Georgetown Texas Town Square to celebrate a centennial anniversary for the respected Georgetown Independent School District. City leaders, teachers, students, families, and friends came together to celebrate 100 years of Georgetown ISDs accomplishments!
Georgetown, TX- a charming town enriched by culture, history, and education just minutes from Santa Rita Ranch has put education first for 100 years and Santa Rita Ranch is thankful that Tierra Rosa Village is zoned to Georgetown Independent School District who takes immense pride in their work (Ranch Code No 4).
During the celebration, our Santa Rita Ranch team heard stories dating back 85 years. The radiant women featured above proudly shared her Great Aunt’s “The Eagle”, a Georgetown High School School Paper dating from 1932. Her great aunt featured a beautiful and inspiring quote in the paper.
